Project Description
The Tom Adams Bridge over the Lemon Bay Intracoastal Waterway, originally constructed in 1965, is scheduled for repairs to extend its service life and ensure its continued safe operation. This project includes procuring an engineering firm to design the necessary structural repairs, followed by contracting with a construction firm to carry out the rehabilitation work.
Some of the necessary repairs include a generator replacement, pile jacket repairs, bridge fender repairs, structural repairs, and control panel updates.

The construction bid opening was held on May 6, 2026, with Titan Construction identified as the lowest responsive bidder. Once the contract is approved by the Board of County Commissioners, the pre‑construction meeting will be scheduled.
