The Planning and Zoning Board (P&Z) advises the Board of County Commissioners and the public on zoning, planning, and future development. The board reviews rezoning requests, Comprehensive Plan amendments, and related matters before making recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.

The Planning and Zoning Board meets every second Monday of the month in Room 119, 18500 Murdock Circle, Administration Center, Port Charlotte, at 1:30 p.m.
