Adoption of Revisions to Temporary Uses, Types and Fees
On July 24, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners adopted an amendment to the Code of Laws & Ordinances that made changes to Section 3-9-87 Temporary Uses. The changes were proposed by staff based upon customer questions and feedback and relate to the types, requirements and fees for Temporary Use Permits.
The major revisions that were adopted are:
- The former three levels of temporary uses were consolidated into two levels, Level 1 and Level 2.
- Type 1 and Type 2 level temporary uses were combined as Type 1 and limited to a maximum of 1,500 square feet. The fee for a Type 1 Temporary Use Permit will be $150
- The former Type 3 level temporary uses were consolidated into Type 2 and are those that are greater than 1,500 square feet. The fee for a Type 2 Temporary Use Permit was lowered from $1,000 to $300.
