Community Services Facilities Status

Get active again post-storm at open facilities. This page is updated frequently with the status of Community Services facilities. As we clean up and reopen our facilities, be cautious if you encounter vegetative debris in parks and waterways. Visitors should avoid these areas.

  • Mid-County Regional Library remains closed.
     

Curb-side book pick up is available at Centennial Recreation Center Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Recreation Centers - all other recreation centers remain closed until further notice.
REC2U will be on site on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the following parks:
  • January 28 - Englewood Beach Park 
  • January 28 - Maracaibo Kidspace Park 
  • January 29 - Centennial Park 
Pools - all other pools remain closed until further notice.
Splashpads
  • McGuire Park splash pad is open.
UF/IFAS Extension Services 
  • UF/IFAS Extension Services are now proctoring 'pesticide applicator liscense' tests by appointment only.  

Parks 
Most parks are open and available for use. However, many park amenities have received damage and are unsafe for current use. Please adhere to posted signs for “closed amenities,” while county staff and vendors work to address these safety concerns. The list below shows facilities and amenities that are still closed.
