FDEP Permit Review Procedure
The following information is provided to aid in completing FDEP permit applications for water and wastewater utility extensions.
Water Permit
General Permit for Construction of Water Main Extensions for Public Water Systems (PWS)
Section I: General Project Information
Item F: Name of Permittee should be the developer or owner.
Item G: PWS supplying water to project: Use Charlotte County Utilities information. The Utilities Department signs here.
Item H: PWS that will OWN the project after completion: Use Charlotte County Utilities information. The Utilities Department signs here.
Item I: Engineer of Record fills in their information here.
Section II: Preliminary Design Report for Project
Items A, B and C: Engineer of Record fills in information here.
Section III: Certifications
Item A: Permittee, owner or agent of project signs here.
Item B: PWS supplying water to project: Use Peace River data on the form if not located in the Burnt Store RO plant service area. The Utilities Department signs the form.
