CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 11, 2025) – Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, repair work will commence on playground components at William R. Gaines Jr. Veterans Memorial Park. For safety reasons, we ask patrons to use extreme caution in the area from Aug. 12-15, 2025.
Park patrons can also visit nearby playgrounds at Higgs Park or Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park during this time.
