CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 19, 2026) — Calling all gardeners! Whether you have a seasoned green thumb or are ready to dig into vegetable gardening for the first time, learn how to make the most of Southwest Florida’s fall growing season at the Vegetable Gardening in Southwest Florida workshop.
The workshop will be offered on two dates:
- Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mid-County Regional Library, 4050 Forest Nelson Blvd.,
- Port Charlotte.Friday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Recreation Center.
Presented by UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County Master Gardener Volunteers, the workshop will provide practical tips to help participants get their fall vegetable gardens off to a great start.
