The waterfront sustained extensive pier damage resulting in total loss of approximately 140 sq ft. timber and composite fishing pier. caused by storm surge, strong winds, flooding, and windborne debris. The Conference Center sustained roof damage from a fallen tree on the front right corner, with multiple missing soffit panels, fascia, and a damaged gutter in multiple storm events.

Damage to site included the Park Entry sign and significant erosion including the rip rap revetment on the pier approach and at the bulkhead caused by strong winds, flooding, and windborne debris.

Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage to recreational, athletic, and support facilities, including roofs, soffits, lighting, and structures at restrooms, concessions, maintenance buildings, and the aquatic center. Multiple playground, freestanding, and bleacher shade structures and athletic field equipment like fencing, goals, bleachers, and posts were damaged. Several buildings and sheds sustained significant damage, with some considered total losses. Disc golf areas, fencing, sports lighting, and signage also require repair or resetting.
