CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Jan. 27, 2026) – The Charlotte County Economic Development Office has awarded Cheney Brothers the Charlotte County Excellence in Business Award, recognizing the company’s leadership, economic impact, and longstanding commitment to the community.
The Excellence in Business Award is one of Charlotte County’s highest recognitions for the private sector and is presented to organizations that demonstrate sustained business success while leading with integrity and responsibility. Award recipients contribute to job creation, workforce development, and community strength throughout the county.
Cheney Brothers employs more than 500 people locally and has been a trusted partner to businesses across Southwest Florida for decades. Beyond its economic impact, the company is widely recognized for its people-first culture and consistent support of the community, particularly during times of need.
