Franklin Water Treatment Opens New Charlotte County Facility, Plans to Grow Workforce to 30 Employees

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 20, 2025) – Franklin Water Treatment celebrated the grand opening of its new Punta Gorda facility with a ribbon cutting attended by county officials, business leaders and members of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. The event highlighted the company’s continued investment in the local economy and its long-term commitment to the community. 

Chamber CEO Bob White welcomed attendees and recognized Franklin Water Treatment’s role in supporting regional economic growth. Speakers shared the company’s long history in pump and water treatment innovation and noted that the new Charlotte County operation is already producing significant output for wholesale partners, including licensed plumbers and well drillers. Company leaders reported that the facility is staffed with a growing team and is projected to expand to 30 employees by the end of 2026. 

Charlotte County Economic Development director Kay Tracy emphasized the county’s commitment to supporting business expansions and strengthening the manufacturing sector. County Commission Chairman Joe Tiseo also highlighted the economic impact of Franklin Water Treatment’s investment and the value it brings to the region’s workforce and industrial ecosystem.
