CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (May 21, 2025) —Charlotte County Economic Development is proud to recognize Kenna Hubai as the May honoree in the 2025 “40 Under 40” series, which celebrates young professionals shaping the future of our community through leadership, innovation, and service.
Kenna Hubai serves as Business Services Manager for Charlotte County Public Works, where she oversees a wide range of operations from public outreach and strategic planning to cemetery management and accreditation. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Hubai brings a unique blend of discipline, empathy, and vision to her public service role.
“I adore my team – I am surrounded with some of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” said Hubai. “They are amazing and I wouldn’t be successful without them.”
Deeply committed to workforce development, Hubai mentors through local programs like Junior Achievement Inspire and Lean In Charlotte. She has also led significant improvements to Charlotte County’s public cemetery system—enhancing visitor experiences and streamlining digital access to information for grieving families.
The “40 Under 40” series is part of a broader effort to spotlight emerging leaders who are choosing to live, work, and grow their careers in Charlotte County.
