CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2026) – Playground repairs will begin Sept. 14, 2026 at Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park and Rotonda Community Park. Work is expected to be completed by October 1, 2026.
At Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park the existing playground and swing elements will remain open during construction. The project consists of the replacement of the playground equipment for children ages 2-5.
At Rotonda Community Park, the entire playground area will be closed to the public during construction. The project consists of the replacement of the swings in the existing playground area.
Park patrons are asked to remain clear of the construction area during this time.
