CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2026) – There will be multiple intermittent lane closures throughout Charlotte County 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 18 for work crews to trim palm trees.
- Edgewater Drive between U.S. 41 and Midway Boulevard
- Midway Boulevard between Elkcam Boulevard and Harbor Boulevard
- U.S. 41 between Enterprise Drive and Cornelius Boulevard
- U.S. 41 between Cochran Avenue and Peace River Bridge
- Toledo Blade Boulevard between U.S. 41 and Hillsborough Boulevard
- State Road 776 between U.S. 41 and Murdock Circle
- Murdock Circle between State Road 776 and U.S. 41
Travelers should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
