CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (April 30, 2025) — Did you pay to have your Hurricane Ian-damaged seawall repaired or replaced? You may qualify for reimbursement of up to half of the associated costs incurred. Some restrictions apply.
The Charlotte County Hurricane Ian Seawall Repair Assistance program has remaining funds to be expended before June 30, 2025, and applications are being accepted through May 30. Homeowners may submit a complete application packet for reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible costs. There are no income restrictions, but the property must be homesteaded. Reimbursement is provided on a first-eligible, first-served basis, and will be processed until June 30 or when funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first.
