CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 9, 2025) – The community is invited to a public tour of the Burnt Store Water Treatment and Reclamation Facility on Thursday, Oct. 16 to celebrate Imagine A Day Without Water.
Spots are still available for residents to learn how potable water is processed, wastewater is treated and how the utility supports the health and growth of Charlotte County. The public is asked to pre-register online.

The tour date is subject to change. Capacity is limited and participation must be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour guests are asked to wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared to participate in a walking tour, mostly outdoors. For more information, email CCUPR@CharlotteCountyFL.gov.
