CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2026) – Alton Road between Hallstead Avenue and Laika Avenue will have intermittent lane closures 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Feb. 13 for Lumos Fiber to install underground fiber.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
