Traffic Advisory - Buck Creek Bridge on C.R. 775 (Placida Road) Daily Lane Closure

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (July 11, 2025) – The Buck Creek Bridge on County Road 775 (Placida Road) will have daily lane closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, July 14, until Tuesday, Sept. 2, for bridge rehabilitation work by Thomas Marine Construction. 

Travelers are directed to lane changes with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area. 

 The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
