CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 16, 2025) – Burlington Avenue will have multiple intersection lane closures Sept. 18-19 for Accurate Drilling Systems to complete asphalt installation.
- Intersection of Burlington Avenue and Inland Street 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18
- Intersection of Burlington Avenue and Gunther Street 12 p.m.-5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18
- Intersection of Burlington Avenue and Halifax Street 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19
Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
