Our division enhances the quality of life by providing safe, well maintained, accessible park and athletic facilities for all users including athletic fields, beaches, parks and conservation lands, playgrounds, fishing piers, and boat ramps; managing and safeguarding natural ecosystems for public access for passive recreation and environmental education.

Beaches
Charlotte County boasts the most beautiful beaches in Southwest Florida. Dogs are not permitted on beaches or fishing piers per County Ordinance (Ord. No. 98-070, § 14, 12-1-98; Ord. No. 2000-033, § 2, 9-26-00; Ord. No. 2012-023, § 1, 6-12-12).
Facility & Pavilion Rentals
Community Services has a variety of rental spaces available for public usage. Insurance may be required for the rental of any Charlotte County facility. Amenities and meeting rooms are available to the public on a first come, first served basis, as available.
Fishing, Fishing Piers & Boat Ramps
All Charlotte County fishing locations are public fishing areas. For information on fishing licenses and permits please visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website.
