The Leadership Charlotte Class of 2026 will host the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, March 29 at The Twisted Fork in Port Charlotte. The family-friendly event will bring the community together for an evening of friendly competition, music and fun while raising funds to benefit two local nonprofit organizations.Registration begins at 5 p.m., with bags flying at 5:30 p.m. The cost to participate is $25 per person, or $50 per team, and players are encouraged to bring a partner. Cash prizes will be awarded to top teams, and the event will feature music and activities designed to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for participants and spectators alike. The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for small businesses and private nonprofit organizations in Florida that sustained economic losses caused by frost and freeze conditions occurring Jan. 23 through Feb. 5, 2026. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Nov. 4, 2026.
Lewis Earns ICMA Credentialed Manager Honor
