Outfall culverts that were replaced or repaired due to hurricane damage are required to have a manatee exclusion grate installed. These grates help prevent manatees from getting stuck in the culvert. As part of the CMP, Community Services is conducting structural assessments on all piers, boardwalks, seawalls and boat ramps; through this assessment process it was bought to CS attention that Riverside Boat Ramp provides immediate safety concerns. During the site analysis the engineer determined the ramp could not be repaired in place; this project will be to design a replacement ramp that alleviates the safety issues.
South County Regional Park Playground Replacement

Replacement of the existing playground equipment that has reached it's of life cycle. This will include the 5-12 and 2-5 ages play structures. The existing shade canopies will remain and be incorporated into the new equipment layout. Final design's from 3 vendors will be shared with the community so they can vote on the most liked concept.
