The ELK 3.45, FOR 5.11 and a weir on the Pellam Waterway were found to be damaged. The cause of the damage is not known. An engineering firm has been retained to assess these three water control stuctures to determine the extent of the deficincies and then to prepare a cost effective plan that will successfully restore the structures so that they operate as designed.Riverside Boat Ramp Replacement

As part of the CMP, Community Services is conducting structural assessments on all piers, boardwalks, seawalls and boat ramps; through this assessment process it was bought to CS attention that Riverside Boat Ramp provides immediate safety concerns. During the site analysis the engineer determined the ramp could not be repaired in place; this project will be to design a replacement ramp that alleviates the safety issues.

The Bayshore Grass Parking area was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton. A new assessment is required to confirm that the previous design will still meet current project needs. Submittals have been received, and an engineer of record has been confirmed.
