Two hydroponic gardening workshops will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Centennial Park Recreation Center located at 1120 Centennial Blvd., in Port Charlotte. Classes will be held from noon-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.

The Centennial Park pool will be closed for the 2025 “Fit For Life” Senior Games on Saturday morning Oct. 4. The pool will reopen at 1 p.m.
