If You Are Interested in a Career as a Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic

  • Apply and satisfy all testing requirements with the National Testing Network
  • We strongly encourage all candidates who meet minimum eligibility criteria for both Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic to apply to both postings when available.

Minimum Certification Requirements

Firefighter/EMT include:
  • An unexpired BLS for healthcare providers card
  • An unexpired certificate of compliance from the State Fire Marshal
  • An unexpired EMT license from the Florida Department of Health

Firefighter/paramedic include:

  • An unexpired ACLS card
  • An unexpired certificate of compliance from the State Fire Marshal
  • An unexpired paramedic license from the Florida Department of Health

We Do Not have a Volunteer Firefighter Program
