The Bayshore Grass Parking area was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton. A new assessment is required to confirm that the previous design will still meet current project needs. Submittals have been received, and an engineer of record has been confirmed. Contract negotiations are in progress, and once final designs are approved, the County will advertise the project for construction bids to begin reestablishing and hardening the parking area.

The existing shade canopies will remain and be incorporated into the new equipment layout. Final design's from 3 vendors will be shared with the community so they can vote on the most liked concept. The design with the most votes is what will be installed.
