The concept planis broken into two phases and Phase 1 includes the addition of a 9 hole disc golf course, a toddler/sensory playground to compliment the existing playground, exercie equipment, multi-use sport fields, a natural walking trail, modular skate park and sport courts. Phase 2 includes a recreation center, fishing pier, picnic shelters, a restroom and playground expansion. The recreation center will double as a storm shelter during hurricane season.

As part of the CMP, Community Services is conducting structural assessments on all piers, boardwalks, seawalls and boat ramps; through this assessment process it was bought to CS attention that Riverside Boat Ramp provides immediate safety concerns. During the site analysis the engineer determined the ramp could not be repaired in place; this project will be to design a replacement ramp that alleviates the safety issues.
