Design, permit, and construct a maintenance dredge event within the Pirate Harbor waterway system. This project will include construction oversight with post dredge bathymetric surveys for project certification. This project is for approximately the landward half of the access channel inland connector canals. The finger canals are not included in this project.

Weir Inspection and Repair Design

The ELK 3.45, FOR 5.11 and a weir on the Pellam Waterway were found to be damaged. The cause of the damage is not known. An engineering firm has been retained to assess these three water control stuctures to determine the extent of the deficincies and then to prepare a cost effective plan that will successfully restore the structures so that they operate as designed.

The primary purpose for the Project is to provide erosion control and shoreline stabilization measures including maintenance dredging and beach disposal for approximately 5,000 feet of eroding gulf and inlet shorelines utilizing Navigation Channel sediments.
